Dear Friends and Arts Lovers:

I would like to invite you to my next art exhibit that will take place on August the 4th of 2008 at the Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park in Oakville Ontario from 10am to 5pm.

On this occasion I will be exhibiting and selling some of my most significant works of art at The Oakville Art Society 43rd annual “Art in the Park”; this juried show has been a wonderful arena where once a year, and just for a day, many significant and talented artists from all across Canada have a chance to display and sell their works in a beautiful setting by lake Ontario in Oakville.

The title I have chosen for this exhibit is: “From Chaos to Balance”.

I will display some of my never exhibited works such as my 1998 “Cry for Peace-Emergency Call”. This acrylic on canvas is an excellent interpretation of the 9/11 event of 2001 that has shape in so many ways the course of this new millennium.  Also included in this exhibit is my 2008 “Cry for Peace-Death of All Rainbows”, oil-mix media on canvas. This painting was done using recyclable materials and puts emphasis in a single message of taking care of our Planet Earth. As you know, we only have ONE.

These two very disturbing and brutally dark pieces of art are countered by pieces that give an equal amount of much needed feeling of peace and exquisite balance for all of us to enjoy; my 1998 “Dawn of Aquarius”, acrylic on canvas, and my 2008 “Pure Aqua”, oil on canvas. To complement the exhibit, 16 pieces of art in oil on canvas from 2008; and 16 pairs of miniatures in acrylic/mix media sealed on resin from 2007 will be shown. All these pieces of art contain a loving and positive message, the only way to think in today’s world.

This exhibit demonstrates the contrast in my work over a period of 10 years. It would be an honour and a pleasure to enjoy your company and share a day together on a civic holiday. Over 150 fine artists welcome you to this event sponsored by the Oakville Art Society. This will be on the waterfront and there will be a beer garden and food to make this event a fun day for the entire family.

From Toronto simply take the QEW towards Hamilton and get off on Bronte road south until you get to the Lake, turn left on Ontario St. and follow a few short blocks until you are at the park. There is plenty of parking and signs showing the way to the event for your convenience placed along Bronte road near Lakeshore.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Attend one of my upcoming seminars!

* Map Financial, a global leader in financial planning recently held the grand opening of its Toronto offices where over 25 of my art pieces are now featured.

This new relationship has led to the launch of a series of educational seminars focused on improving the awareness and fundamental  art knowledge of art buyers and investors . The first seminar, titled, “The Art of Investing in Art” was held at Map Financial in June.

Details regarding the next seminar in September will be published here!
